Dua Lipa is a British musician and singer who was who was born in London United Kingdom on August 22nd 1995. Following her stint as a model her decision was to join Warner Bros Records and release her debut album titled "Dua Lipa" in the year 2017. The album was ranked at number 3 on the U.K. Charts and produced 8 singles. These included Be The One I.D.G.A.F, the U.K. number one Single New Rules as well as the U.K. Number. 1 single New Rules. Lipa received the Brit Awards as a British Female solo artist and British breakout act in the year 2018. Her album was certified platinum throughout the world. Dua Lipa was the daughter of Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London, was born on 22 August 1995. She is of Bosnian origin by her mother's grandmother. It is possible to trace her family's roots back to Peja which is a city located in Kosovo. Lipa's grandparents were both historians. She is a sister to Rina Lipa and an older brother called Gjin. Lipa was influenced musically by her father the guitar player and lead singer of the Kosovan rock group Oda. At home, her dad would play original compositions, along with songs by David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics Stereophonics. Lipa was just five years old when she started singing.
